Smart Building

A smart building is one that uses technology to make efficient and economical use of resources while also providing occupants with a safe and comfortable environment. Smart buildings may use a variety of existing technologies and are designed or retrofitted in such a way that future technological developments can be integrated. Some of the mechanisms and robotics that may be used in a smart building to control and optimize its performance include Internet of Things (IoT) sensors, building automation, artificial intelligence (AI), and augmented reality.

Smart Retail

Smart Retail uses IOT to facilitate certain processes in the purchase process of customers, as well as analysis of buyer behaviours and patterns. This can come from payment systems that allow users to pay using their smartphones or wearables, and even analysing and controlling the traffic within the store using people-counting systems. Environmental controls for foodstuffs that detect and adjust the surrounding temperature for perishables, along with air quality and humidity are also a part of smart retail.

Smart Parking

Smart parking is a technology that uses video analytics and artificial intelligence to identify license plate numbers, vehicle presence, and the entry and exit timings of all parked vehicles to aid in the autonomous management of a car park.

IoT (Internet of Things)

IOT (Internet of Things) is a technological revolution that has picked up steam over the past decade. The term is widely used to describe technology that have sensors embedded in them, allowing them to communicate with other devices on the same network, be it through the internet or, with more recent developments, 5G. IOT is the driving force behind many of the other "smart technology" segments that have helped to improve the quality of life in more technogically advanced regions.
