Passive Components

Passive components are electrical components that do not have the ability to manipulate electrical currents, instead only being able to receive it, after which it can either dissipate, absorb or store it in an electric field or a magnetic field. A few examplesof these components would be capacitors, resistors, inductors, transformers, and diodes.
